Stephenie Franks

Owner

Stephenie is a Louisiana girl through and through. She was born and raised in New Iberia, LA, and attended the University of Louisiana at Lafayette (UL), where she graduated with a degree in Fashion, Merchandise, & Design. She has been a proud resident of Lafayette, LA, for 20 years and has one son whom she adores.

Stephenie has always had an artistic side, so working with florals came naturally. She dabbled in floristry as a hobby for nearly 30 years before working in the floral department at Rouses for 2.5 years, eventually earning a promotion to Department Manager.

After finding success in her managerial role for a year and a half, Stephenie knew it was time to start her own business and become her own boss — so Southern Belle Blooms was born in 2020. Stephenie aims to bring people joy, comfort, and love through floristry, and she feels incredibly blessed to have a rewarding career making people happy by doing what she loves.

Pennye Broussard

Floral Expert

Pennye is a born native of Lafayette and is the proud mother of two beautiful daughters. She has always had a passion for flowers, plants, and decorating which led to her becoming a Florist in 2021. She began her journey at Les Amie Flowerland where her love of flowers really took root. She then moved on to Rouses Markets as a Florist/Floral manager. This endeavor eventually led her to Southern Belle Blooms in June 2022. Pennye loves working with customers and making their visions come to life. She feels so blessed to be doing something that brings her great joy and peace.
